Notes: In May 1905, Charles L. Bustin and Sam Withers founded Bustin’s & Withers furniture store located at 99 Germain Street. Charles Bustin later became the sole proprietor conducting business as Charles L. Bustin Furniture until his death. He was succeeded by his nephew Stanley Bustin Jr. in 1927 who expanded the store and changed the name to Bustin’s Fine Furniture Ltd. Stanley Bustin Jr. bought the business from his father in 1948. Stanley Bustin’s sons, Tom and Bob serve as president and vice-president respectively.
