Notes: Located on a hill, overlooking the harbour, this Douglas Avenue school opened in 1926, with an enrollment of approximately 400 students. Mr Fletcher Peacock directed the school from 1926 until 1937. The curriculum included home economics, industrial & commercial arts, technical & commercial studies. In 1997, the school's name changed to Harbour View High School.
