The magnifications given in the legend for each figure is for using the browser set at a 100% zoom level, usually the default. If this is increased or decreased the magnifications will not be correct. To avoid this issue there is a small scale bar included on each plate that is independent of the zoom level. Its value is dependent upon the indicated magnification of the individual figures. Thus:
