Gregarious on a highly decayed (almost humus) conifer stump, Caledonia Gorge Protected Natural Area, New Brunswick (14-08-12/06).

Basidiospores amyloid, smooth, 5.1-7.5 X 2.7-3.7 μm, D/d = 1.74-2.10 (average: 6.4 X 3.3 μm, D/d = 1.97). Cheilocystidia scattered, cylindrical to lageniform. Pileipellis a dry cutis of encrusted, clamped hyphae.
