Russula ionochlora Romagn.
Solitary in soil under Picea rubens,Abies balsamea and Betula papyrifera, Caledonia Gorge Protected Natural Area, New Brunswick (16-08-12/03).
Spore print rather thin, but it appears to be nearly white when scraped into a pile. Basidiospores 5.9-8.1 X 4.0-5.4 μm (average = 6.9 X 4.8) D/d = 1.19-1.69 (average = 1.45)
