Mycena borealis A.H. Smith
Clustered (9) on a conifer log in mature forest of Picea rubens, associated with Abies balsamea and Picea rubens, Campobello Island, New Brunswick (25-09-16/08).
Basidiospores 7.1-8.7 X 4.7-6.0 μm, D/d = 1.36-1.80, amyloid. Cheilocystidia ventricose, 44-75 X 13-21 μm, with apex rasp-like due to numerous sharp projections. Pleurocystidia similar to the cheilocystidia, abundant.
