Gregarious in leaf litter, associated with Abies balsamea, Betula papyrifera, and Populus tremuloides, Nepisiguit Protected Natural Area , New Brunswick (20-08-16]04).

Basidiospores amygdaliform, with a markedly tapered apical part, smooth, 8.2-9.8 X 4.6-5.8 µm, D/d = 1.56-1.92. Cheilocystidia 47.2-62.7 X 12.1-18.2 µm, D/d = 2.91-4.12, thick-walled, only slightly yellow in KOH. Pleurocystidia 50.1-69.2 X 11.2-16.2(21) µm, D/d = (2.67)3.44-5.79, thick-walled, only slightly yellow in KOH.
