Fleshy Fungi of New Brunswick >> Crepidotus vulgaris

Crepidotus vulgaris Hesler & A.H. Smith

Picture of Crepidotus vulgaris

Gregarious on small twigs of red spruce and balsam fir, Caledonia Gorge Protected Natural Area, New Brunswick.

This collection is not a perfect fit for C. vulgaris because the pileipellis lacks a turf of upright hyphae as described by Hesler and Smith.
