Cortinarius minutalis Lamoure
Growing amongst gametophytes of Dicranum sp. in forest dominated by Abies balsamea and Betula cordifolia, Campobello Island, New Brunswick (24-09-16/03).
Basidiospores ellipsoidal to subdacryoid, conspicuously roughened, with roughening especially evident at the apex, markedly dextrinoid, 6.7-8.8 X 4.3-5.3 μm, D/d = 1.49-1.72.
