Cortinarius albovariegatus (Velen.) Melot
Gregarious in Sphagnum moss carpet under Picea mariana, Little Lepreau, New Brunswick (08-09-03/01).
Basidiospores 8.2-8.6 X 5.8-6.0 μm.
Very similar to C. obtusus but with a densely white-scaly stipe.
