Lily Lake, Saint John, New Brunswick
Lily Lake is located in one of Canada’s largest urban parks, Rockwood Park, Saint John, NB. Situated close to the south entrance of Rockwood Park, Lily Lake has played a significant role the Rockwood Parks’ history. Prior to 1894, a flour mill was located at the outfall of the lake, as well as, a source of water supply for the City of Saint John. Since the late 1890’s, Lily Lake has been recognized as an excellent venue for skating during the winter months, and swimming in the summer.
